Not one or two, this Friday will see the release of four Bollywood films - Hate Story IV, Dil Junglee, 3 Storeys and Baa Baa Black Sheep. Among these films, Hate Story IV will definitely be the pick for the audience at the box office. Talking about the prediction, trade expert, Akshaye Rathi said, "Among the new releases Hate Story IV will open with good numbers since its a successful franchise. The film will perform specifically in the mass centres, single screens in tier 2 and tier 3 cities."
He also added that the buzz around Dil Junglee is low and will be heavily dependent on a good word-of-mouth to survive at the box office. "Dil Junglee is looking pretty nice but the only issue is lack of awareness and the buzz around it. When you have a good film, you need to communicate to the people about what they are in for. Unfortunately, so far not been able to give the amount of buzz, which a good film creates. Now the film has to depend on good word-of-mouth if it needs to do well."
Akshaye Rathi also said that the holdover release, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, will give tough time to the new films and will continue to rake in moolah at the ticket windows.
The other two releases - Baa Baa Black Sheep and 3 Storeys have no buzz and very few screens to perform at the box office. If these films need to survive in the clutter of releases, their content needs to impress the audience.
