Prabhas-Rana Daggubati-Anushka Shetty-Tamannaah starrer has amassed Rs 545 crore worldwide…
SS Rajamouli spun his magic with the magnum opus Baahubali: The Beginning a month back. The film, which had been in the making for the past three years, made records that not many other films have been able to make in the past. The latest we get to know is that the film has now amassed Rs 545 crore at the worldwide box office. Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah, this film is still running high at the ticket windows.
With this the movie has now broken the worldwide record of Dhoom: 3, which had earned Rs 542 crore in its lifetime. Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan also broke Dhoom: 3's record a few days back. The two films are on a record breaking spree, however, it will be interesting to see if either of them manage to break PK's worldwide collections, which stands firm at the numero uno position with Rs 740 crore worldwide.
This is the first non-Bollywood film, which has managed to earn so much at the worldwide box office, and it was Karan Johar who made this possible. The Dharma Productions head honcho took the film to the global audiences with its different versions releasing all across. The dubbed Hindi version of the film also managed to earn around Rs 107 crore till now, which is a first for any dubbed south movie ever.
SS Rajamouli promised to release a teaser of the sequel in the forthcoming days. We are eagerly awaiting the same. So stay hooked onto BollywoodLife for more updates on Baahubali.
