Chadwick Boseman's superhero flick Black Panther is all set to achieve the milestone of $1 billion mark in this weekend at the global box office. After receiving a tremendous response at Noth America box office and other markets, the Marvel film released in China this weekend. It received immense praise from the Chinese audience and collected over $22 million on its opening day there. Black Panther has crossed the $ 930 million mark till now and by looking at its current performance in China, we are expecting it cross the $1 billion mark by tomorrow.
Coming to the domestic market, the film has crossed Rs 32 crore mark and performed much better than many Bollywood films. Apart from Chadwick Boseman, who plays the titular character in the film, Black Panther also features Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis in pivotal roles.
