After getting a phenomenal start at the Chennai box office, Thalapathy Vijay's Sarkar witnesses a drop on Thursday and Friday and the reason was the protests by political parties, which affected its business. In four days, it grossed Rs 6.45 crore and has lost around a crore due to political. But now the film is clear from all controversies and with rock-solid advance booking, we expect it to show a good jump on Saturday and Sunday.

Apparently, the film has got 3500 screens and has been released across 80 countries, thus making it widest Tamil release ever. With this number of screens, we expect Sarkar to set new benchmarks at the ticket windows. The film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Johny Tri Nguyen, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. The album of Sarkar is composed by Music Maestro and Academy Award winner AR Rahman.

The film has received positive reviews from the critics, so we expect it to remain steady in the weekdays. Our critic Gautham Pattikonda gave the film three stars and wrote, "Sarkar makes you walk out of the cinema hall thinking about how you can bring about change and director A.R.Murugadoss sends out a loud message about how change can begin with just one person. Sarkar, as is, is a powerful plot and Vijay effortlessly carries it till the end." Anyway, have you liked the film? Tweet to us...
