Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 again faced the same obstacle on its second day, which is the CAA protests across the country. The film failed to show any growth but the good point is it didn't even dropped much. As per the early estimates, the masala entertainer has raked in around Rs 24 crore and now stands with the grand total of Rs 48.50. If it had a smooth release, the collections would have been in the range of Rs 65-70 crore. Well, we hope to see a solid growth today, which will help the film cruise past the Rs 75 crore mark at the box office.
Director Prabhudheva, who has worked with Salman Khan for the second time after Wanted was asked how he has changed over the time, to which he replied, Prabhu said, "There are changes in him as an actor. He knows everything about the film and not just story and screenplay. But personally, he is still the same." Prodded on their personal equation, he adds, "There is huge respect for each other," saying that their contrasting personalities work in the best interest.
Arbaaz had donned the director's hat for the second installment of Dabangg beside reprising his character of Makkhi and produced the film as well. When prodded on the same, Arbaaz told us, "Well, I think, we wanted to give a slightly fresh perspective to the film and there as this seven-year gap and I also got involved in a couple of things. Maybe I felt, you know, producer, director, and actor was a bit of too much with a lot of things happening in my life on my personal and professional front. The focus and the time required was (much) I think I could contribute more as a producer and an actor. But as a director that extreme focus. (I thought) Maybe this time, I could take the back seat."
