The eccentric family drama has not even completed a week in the theatres but has already raked in a little over Rs 65 crore worldwide. Now that's mighty impressive, hai na? While Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara worked wonders at the box office, DDD on the other hand might end up creating box office records if its golden run at the ticket windows continues. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, this family drama was expected to fare well but looks like its going to exceed all the expectations as far as its box office fate is concerned.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the updated figures a while back. He wrote on popular social networking site Twitter,"#DilDhadakneDo holds well on Mon. Fri 10.53 cr, Sat 12.27 cr, Sun 14.25 cr, Mon 5.77 cr. Total - 42.82 cr. India biz."
Total box office collection overseas
Zoya's film not only raked in big moolah at the Indian box office but it fared equally well in the international markets. Today morning, Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter, "#DilDhadakneDo embarks on a flying start in the international arena. Weekend total: $ 3.5 million [22.38 cr]. EXCELLENT."
Well, this brings the total worldwide collection of DDD to Rs 65.02 crore (42.82 cr+22.38 cr)!
