Dil Dhadakne Do box office collection: Priyanka Chopra - Ranveer Singh's family drama crosses the Rs 50 crore mark!

The multi starrer has been doing good business at the Indian as well as overseas box office

Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma and Shefali Shah's much awaited film of the year - Dil Dhadakne Do finally released last Friday. The film had a great start at the ticket windows thanks to its impressive star cast and created a lot of buzz before its release. Though the film received mixed response from the critics, the audience seems to have liked Zoya Akhtar's family drama.

After making Rs 37.05 crore over the weekend, DDD has been doing good business at the box office. In fact, the film has just crossed the Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic box office. Though the collection of the film dipped on Monday, it has been steady so far. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh updated the box office numbers of Zoya's film on Twitter a while ago. He wrote, "#DilDhadakneDo crosses ₹ 50 cr mark! Fri 10.53 cr, Sat 12.27 cr, Sun 14.25 cr, Mon 5.77 cr, Tue 5.09 cr, Wed 4.48 cr. Total: ₹ 52.39 cr."

Apart from India, Ranveer-Priyanka's family drama has fared quite well at the international front as well. Within less than a week, the film is already inching towards the Rs 100 crore club at the international box office. With Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan starrer Hamari Adhuri Kahani releasing tomorrow, it remains to be seen if the numbers of DDD will get affected. Keep watching this space to find out!
