The film has opened well at the domestic box office...
Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and John Abraham's Dishoom created a lot of noise before its release, but the buzz was still very low till yesterday evening. However, seems that this hasn't affected the film since it opened very well at the box office!
As our trade expert and Editor of Super Cinema, Amul Mohan revealed, "Dishoom has started well on day one. The occupancy has been 30-35 per cent all across India. The film will collect around Rs 9 crore on the opening day. However, it may do slightly better (more than Rs 10 crore) if the evening numbers are better. Till now, the film is performing decently."
Our expert even revealed that Dishoom has released in more than 3000 screens and with a decrease in the screen space for Rajinikanth's Kabali and Salman Khan's Sultan, the people will surely opt to see Varun Dhawan and John Abraham's action film now. Our reviewer also liked the film especially Varun and John's buddy cop part and Akshay Kumar's cameo! The public review has been good too and our expert also suggests that a good word of mouth publicity is flowing for the film already, especially in the interior cities coz of the action.

Talking about the weekend collections, Amul revealed to us, "Over the weekend, it will open at Rs 9 crore, then a Rs 11 crore collection on Saturday and Rs 12 crore on Sunday. So you are looking at a collection of Rs 30-32 crore over the opening weekend, which is a decent number."
