This film marked the first collaboration between Aamir Khan and director Rajkumar Hiarani and also starred
Sharman Joshi, R Madhavan, Omi Vaidya, Boman Irani and Kareena Kapoor in key roles. 3 Idiots inaugurated the Rs 200 crore club and went on to collected Rs 202 crore at the ticket windows. Ghajini
The masala-actioner which was directed by AR Murugadoss, featured Aamir Khan and
Asin in lead roles. Ghajini was the first Bollywood film to enter the Rs 100 crore club.
Taare Zameen Par
Despite clashing with
Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ani Kapoor and Nana Patekar's Welcome, Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par hit the bullseye and collected over Rs 62 crore at the box office against its budget of Rs 12 crore.
