After Secret Superstar and Bajrangi Bhaijaan this is the third Bollywood film which has released in China in 2018. Talking about film's success in producer Bhushan Kumar said, "Whether it is the success of 'Hindi Medium' in China or 'Raid' doing such phenomenal business here, it only reinforces our belief that a good story is what connects with the audience. For us, the key decisions have been to pick stories that have a universal appeal. These are the fruits of those decisions and we are overwhelmed." Hindi Medium has now crossed the Rs 260 crore mark at the global box office.
A quirky social comment on the education system, Hindi Medium is directed by Saket Chaudhary, who previously helmed films like Shaadi Ke Side Effects and Pyaar Ke Side Effects. The film’s story revolves around a couple who want to give their daughter the best education so that she will be accepted by the elite. Apart from the lead cast, the film also stars Deepak Dobriyal and Tilottama Shome in pivotal roles. Anyway, do you guys think, the film will beat Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan in China?
