Despite facing competition from multiple Hollywood and Bollywood releases, Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 has managed to hold well at the box office. The educational drama has earned Rs 9.59 crore in its 4th week and become the third-highest fourth week grosser after Uri: The Surgical Strike and Kabir Singh at the ticket windows. It has beaten films like Bharat, Kesari, Total Dhamaal and Gully Boy to achieve this feat at the domestic market.
Directed by Queen and Shaandaar helmer, Vikas Bahl, Super 30 also stars Mrunal Thakur, Nandish Singh Sandhu, Pankaj Tripathi and Amit Sadh in key roles. It is produced under the banners of Phantom Films, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Reliance Entertainment and HRX Films and the music of the album is given by National Award-winning duo Ajay Atul.
The film has received positive reviews across the country. Our critic Urmimala Banerjee gave the film 3.5 stars and praised the cast by writing, "Hrithik Roshan puts in a sincere performance and is stellar in some of the scenes. You might not exactly identify Bollywood's Greek God as a Bihari genius and passionate guru at the start, but he gets the emotions of the character right and grows on you. Pankaj Tripathi is terrific as the greedy and fake education minister while Aditya Srivastava also does a good job as Lallan Singh. Vijay Verma as Fugga Singh is also solid."
