Jason Momoa and Amber Heard starrer Aquaman has achieved a milestone, which will definitely make all the DC fans happy. The DC superhero venture has surpassed the lifetime business of Tom Hardy's Venom and has turned out to be the fifth highest worldwide grosser of the year after Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Incredibles 2.
While the film has shattered many records in many countries of the world, the business in India was quite disappointing. Many Bollywood and regional releases affected the business of Aquaman in the country. Apart from the lead cast, the film also features Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in pivotal roles. Aquaman is directed by Jams Wan, who is known helming films like The Conjuring and Furious 7.
The film received rave reviews across the world. Our critic Dishya Sharma gave the film three stars and said, "Judging by the recent DC movies released (except Wonder Woman), Aquaman is a good DCU movie. It doesn’t get you sea-sick. You can take your non-DC fan friends along too because they would understand the movie even without much DC universe background. Also, it is a great watch for kids."
