Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi's Jolly LLB 2 has been on a roll at the box office since it released on February 10. The movie has been raking in the moolah on a regular basis and on day 16, the film saw a slight growth again. Jolly LLB 2 earned another Rs 2.01 crore, to take its total tally to Rs 108.21 crore. Talking about the detailed collections of week 3, trade analyst Taran Adarsh mentioned on Twitter, "#JollyLLB2 [Week 3] Fri 1.75 cr, Sat 2.01 cr. Total: Rs 108.21 cr. India biz. HIT."
We have to applaud the fact that Jolly LLB 2 witnessed an impressive growth even on the third Saturday. Generally, films tend to decline in its third week, but Jolly LLB 2 proves that good content and strong word of mouth publicity will always help your film grow. People have loved the story, the performances and inspiring message given out through Akshay's film. They have been raving about it on social media and at theatres. This has really helped give the film a push that it required and rake in the moolah. Also the fact that it has managed to hold its audience and perform decently at the box office, even after the release of Rana Daggubati's The Ghazi Attack and Shahid Kapoor's Rangoon, is a huge achievement.
While Jolly LLB 2 might witness a slight growth again on Sunday, we expect it to decline post Monday. This is purely because of the fact that Rangoon has taken over majority of the screens and everyone has seen Akshay's film by now. In its lifetime run, expect Jolly LLB 2 to have raked in Rs 110-115 crore and cement its place as the third highest grosser of 2017 till now.
