Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi's Jolly LLB 2 has been doing well at the box office since it released on February 10. The film has not only received positive reviews from the public but also raked in the moolah at the box office. And now it is going to overtake the lifetime collections of Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil. On day 13, the film has earned another Rs 2.07 crore that takes its total tally to Rs 102.44 crore. Listing out the film's detailed collections over the second week, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#JollyLLB2 [Week 2] Fri 4.14 cr, Sat 6.35 cr, Sun 7.24 cr, Mon 2.48 cr, Tue 2.45 cr, Wed 2.07 cr. Total: Rs 102.44 cr. India biz."
With this, we expect Jolly LLB 2 to cross the lifetime collections of Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil (Rs 103.17 crore) by the end of day today. We are totally impressed by the way Akshay Kumar's film has been able to hold on to its audience and has not seen a major dip since the second Monday. This has all been possible thanks to the strong word-of-mouth publicity that the film is enjoying. People have been raving about the film on social media. The audience has not only loved the stellar performances delivered by Akshay, Huma and Annu (Kapoor), but also the inspiring message that the film subtly conveys. Obviously, the collections of Jolly LLB 2 have seen a dip as Rana Daggubati and Taapsee Pannu's The Ghazi Attack took up a few of its screens, but the occupancies in the remaining screens has still been exceptionally good. In fact, The Ghazi Attack is not doing so well at the box office, at least the Hindi version of the film. Jolly LLB 2, on the other hand, is doing well considering it is running on its second week. With Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan's Rangoon releasing this Friday, we expect Jolly LLB 2 to see a further decline and wrap up over the weekend. We guess that it will earn Rs 105-110 crore in its lifetime run and cement its place as the second highest grosser of 2017 so far.
