Kick is now Salman's first film to cross over to the Rs 200 crore club, thus becoming the Dabangg Khan's highest grosser in the domestic market
So Salman Khan has finally done it. As you read this, the Dabangg Khan's recently released film, Kick opposite Jacqueline Fernandez has just entered the coveted Rs 200 crore club. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "As you read this, Salman Khan marches into ₹ 200 cr Club. #Kick crosses ₹ 200 cr mark today [Mon]. Salman's HIGHEST GROSSER in India."
Well, we aren't surprised at all. Kick stood with a total of ₹ 197 crore at the domestic box office until yesterday (August 3) thereby surpassing Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's Yeh Jawaani Hai Dewaani, which holds the lifetime record of ₹ 190 crore at the Indian box office.
With Kick crossing ₹ 200 crore today, Salman has beat his own record of Ek Tha Tiger opposite Katrina Kaif, which had a lifetime record of ₹ 198 crore at the domestic box office.
