The actor's film passes the Monday test with flying colours...
Whoever doubted Kapil Sharma's hold over his audience might be fighting embarrassment now. His debut film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon has not managed to open well but has kept it solid even in its first Monday. The film had his brand of comedy, a bit insulting a bit insinuating but it was every bit funny. His bid to keep his onscreen wives oblivious to each other while carrying on his romance with his girlfriend has warmed the hearts of many. After closing the opening weekend with an impressive 28.81 crore, it added another 4.5 crores to its kitty taking the toll to 33.31 crore.
Taran Adarsh, Trade Analyst tweeted,
Now that's definitely huge. It's opening day collection of 10. 16 crore at the domestic box office leaving behind Deepika Padukone’s Piku and Varun Dhawan’s Badlapur. The weekend collection of 28.81 crore is also neat given the fact that Piku and Badlapur only 25.22 and 24 crore each. It managed to go past two of the most loved and appreciated films of the year as well.
Trade is abuzz that the film will gain more and add some more monies to the tally too. Well, Kapil Sharma, your gamble seriously paid off!
