Ravi Teja's Power set out with an aim to match the success of Mass Maharaja's previous blockbuster Balupu. With talented star cast of Ravi Teja, Hansika Motwani, Regina Cassandra, Brahmanandam and Prakash Raj, the film opened to a thunderous response on Friday. But over the weekend, there has been a dip in the film's collection.
KS Ravindra's Power has earned Rs 13.79 crore in Andhra and Telangana box office in its opening weekend. While the film seems to have satisfied the fans of Ravi Teja, critics have given mixed reviews to Power, which might have affected film's performance at the box office. Power registered 100 percent occupancy in most of the single screens and multiplexes on Friday, raking in Rs 5.14 crore in its opening day. The film broke the record of Balupu, which was the biggest opener for Ravi Teja.
However, on weekend, the film failed to capitalise on its terrific opening as the collections slumped to Rs 4 crore and Rs 4.65 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. With Mahesh Babu's Aagadu releasing next week, things don't look so good for makers of Ravi Teja's Power.
