Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool series is one of the most followed and exciting franchises started by Marvel. The first part was very well receieved and with reports suggesting that the sequel is even better, fans are dying to watch the movie. And now that the first few reviews are out, Deadpool 2 has got a 84 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Ain't that cool? The film has got a 'fresh' rating and according to their poll, 99 per cent people want to see it. With the ratings set to rise with better reviews from the critics as well as the audience, it's clear that it is a brilliant start for Deadpool 2. But wait, there's more!
With a 84 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Deadpool 2 has beaten its prequel, Deadpool. Yes, the prequel had got a 83 per cent rating, so clearly Deadpool 2 seems to be better. And the critics also suggest so! Sara Stweart wrote in her review for New York Post, "Raunchy and funny, Deadpool 2 proves that good sequels do exist. In the most carefully vague of terms, I can report that the sequel to Reynolds’ raunchy, violent 2016 comedy succeeds at being bigger-scale and funnier, if lacking the novelty of the original’s gleeful irreverence. It’s also got a terrific blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo." (ALSO READ - Deadpool 2 movie review: The sequel is funnier, raunchier and a gruesome delight, according to top critics)
Coming back to the Rotten Tomatoes rating, Deadpool 2 has also managed to garner the exact same score as that of Avengers: Infinity War. Surprising, isn't it? We just can't wait to see the movie anymore. Anyway, with the film set to hit the screens on May 18, stay tuned to BollywoodLife as we get you all the dope and updates about Deadpool 2 right here.
