Director Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat has turned out to be a huge money spinner at the global box office. Apart from the domestic market, the period drama has done phenomenal business at the overseas circuits. Till now, Bharat has grossed Rs 225 crore (nett Rs 200) in India and Rs 80 crore in the international box office. It now stands with the grand total of Rs 305 crore. Well, by looking at the current scenario, we are expecting the film to cross the Rs 350 crore by the end of its second week.
Bharat is jointly produced by Salman Khan along with sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri and her husband Atul Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Nikhil Namit under the Reel Life Productions, Salman Khan Films and T-Series banners.
Our editor-in-chief, Tushar Joshi praised the performance of the lead cast and wrote, "Salman goes all out to play the title role to his full potential. Very much aware of the pressures of pandering to his fandoms wishes he maintains a good balance between being a superhero and doing justice to his character. Katrina holds her ground against Salman and her introduction scene with him showcases her often underutilised light side."
