Till now, we have shared with you all the box office records created and shattered by Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Bharat at the domestic box office. And now we have got our hands on its international business and it's definitely a shows the superstardom of Salman Khan. Talking about the Indian box office, it has grossed Rs 152.75 crore (nett Rs 122.20 crore) and Rs 35 crore at the overseas box office. Bharat now stands with the grand total of Rs 187.75 crore and will enter the Rs 200 crore club today at the global box office.
Bharat, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, is an official remake of the Korean film "An Ode To My Father". The Bollywood film depicts the history of India through the life of an ordinary man. It is jointly produced by Salman Khan's sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri and her husband Atul Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Nikhil Namit and Salman Khan under the Reel Life Productions, Salman Khan Films and T-Series banners.
Our editor-in-chief, Tushar Joshi has praised the performance of its lead cast and wrote, "Salman goes all out to play the title role to his full potential. Very much aware of the pressures of pandering to his fandoms wishes he maintains a good balance between being a superhero and doing justice to his character. Katrina holds her ground against Salman and her introduction scene with him showcases her often under utilised light side."
