The film is off to a terrific start! Are you ready to experience a Sultan storm at the box office?
One of the biggest days in Bollywood is finally here guys! Salman Khan's Sultan has finally hit the screens and boy, is it already turning out to be the blockbuster of the year? We spoke to our trade experts and by the looks of it, Sultan has opened up to a brilliant start. The shows are running housefull to an extent that it's already clocked a highest occupancy, close to 90 percent. Can you believe it? This is the highest occupancy any film has managed to hit this year. And with that, we compare it to Shah Rukh Khan's Fan which had an occupancy of about 75-80 percent on day one, Akshay Kumar's Housefull 3 which had an occupancy of about 40-45 percent and Airlift which had about 50 percent occupancy. Now all three films were anticipated to be big hits where Housefull 3 and Airlift actually went on to create records at the box office. But nothing in comparison to Sultan. Turns out Salman Khan is already beating the records set by Shah Rukh and Akshay this year.
