Salman Khan's Tubelight is all set to hit the screens this Eid, but even before the release of its teaser, the movie has earned a HUGE amount of money. Yes, we aren't kidding! The makers of Tubelight have already pocketed Rs 227 crore from the music and theatrical rights alone. How? Well, we had revealed to you a couple of days ago that Sony Music India had bought the music rights for the movie for Rs 20 crore. Today again, DNA After Hrs reported that NH Studioz has picked up the theatrical rights of Tubelight in India for Rs 132 crore. Apart from that, a Chinese company has paid approximately Rs 35 crore for the theatrical rights of the film. When you add these three figures, you will realise that Tubelight has Rs 227 crore in its kitty already.
In fact, with a budget of around Rs 100 crore, the makers have already made a profit. So when the film releases, the theatrical collections and the satellite rights will add to these profits. But will Tubelight become the highest grossing film ever? Well, time will only tell. But we can surely say that it can become one of the most profitable films of the year! (ALSO READ - Rs 200 crore!
