Director Luv Ranjan's Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is in no mood to slow down at the box office. Despite the release of Anushka Sharma's Pari, the urban romantic comedy continued to attract the audience at the ticket window, in fact, it has performed better than Pari. The film showed on its second Sunday by collecting Rs 7.02 crore and now stands with the grand total of Rs 65.34 crore. By looking at the current trend, we are expecting the film to cross the 70 crore mark by the end of its second week at the box office.
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety features Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Singh Nijjar and Nushrat Bharucha in the lead roles. Despite not starring any A-List actors, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety turned to be a huge box office success for its makers. The film is produced by Krishan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-Series along with Ankur Garg. Apart from the domestic market, the film has also performed decently well in the international markets.
The film also stars Alok Nath, Virendra Saxena and Ishita Raj Sharma in pivotal roles. Just like Pyaar ka Punchnama franchise, director Luv Ranjan has managed to strike the chord with the audience with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, especially to youth and college-going generation.
