The film has started off on an average note...
Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez's A Flying Jatt was in the buzz since quite a while now and as it released today, the film has got some mixed reactions. After Heropanti and Baaghi, a lot was expected from Tiger Shroff but looks like the audience didn't find A Flying Jatt enticing enough.
In fact, the critics as well as the audience are divided. While a few liked the film, some have not and this has affected the film. Being a holiday, people expected it to open well. However, looking at the current occupancy, we can reveal to you that A Flying Jatt has started off on an average note. As our trade expert, Akshaye Rathi (exhibitor and distributor) revealed to us , "The film has had a fairly okay occupancy. It has had a 30 per cent occupancy on an average across India (till 5 pm). It is not doing too well at the multiplexes, in fact it is more of a single screen small town show till now."
Interesting, isn't it? Earlier, our trade expert Amul Mohan (editor of Super Cinema) had predicted that Tiger Shroff's film will make Rs 9 crore on day one, provided the film is good. However, after an average start, A Flying Jatt might see a slightly smaller opening. As Akshaye revealed to us today, "By the look of it and because it is Janmashtami (holiday), I think it will make Rs 7.50 crore on day one. But it can be a little less or little more (depending on the evening shows)."
