Despite the outbreak of deadly coronavirus and dull pre-holi period, Tiger Shroff's Baaghi took a great start as it collected Rs 17.50 crore on its first day at the box office. The action entertainer surpassed the business of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Street Dancer 3D and Love Aaj Kal to emerge as the biggest opener of the year. Looking at the current scenario, we are expecting the film to earn over Rs 60 crore in its opening weekend.

While the film has garnered a mixed response from the critics, it has received a huge thumbs up from the audience. The film will also enjoy the national holiday of Holi, which is on Tuesday and we will see a great boost at the box office for Baaghi 3. Apart from Tiger, the film also features Shraddha Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Vijay Varma and Ankita Lokhande in key roles. It is directed by Baaghi 2 helmer Ahmed Khan, who will also direct Tiger Shroff's Heropanti 2. The film is bankrolled under the banners of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Fox Star Studios.
Talking about the reviews, our critic Russel D'Silva has given the film 1.5 stars and wrote, "Baaghi 3 is similar to Rambo 2 and 3 in terms of the one-man-army concept and resemble Tiger Zinda Hai and War (which had Tiger Shroff, too) in terms of Bollywood scale and ambition. Sadly it neither holds a candle to any other aspect of those films nor does it comprehend that the swag and star-power of your leading man alone can't compensate for the lack of thrill or adrenaline in an action movie. Barring a couple of exciting moments, the movie is nothing more than a glossy shell with nothing within it." So, have you watched the film? Tweet and let us know @bollywood_life
