After collecting a whopping amount of Rs 16.50 crore on its opening day, Indra Kumar's directorial Total Dhamaal is witnessing an upward trend. On Saturday the movie has set the cash registers ringing. The movie is doing quite well on the box office on its second day. As per trade experts, Total Dhamaal which was more for the single screens theatre is witnessing remarkable growth in the metro and multiplexes. The adventure comedy sees a jump of 23.63% on day two earnings. On its second day, the movie has collected Rs 20.40 crore in the domestic market. This results to a grand total of Rs 36.90 crore. The movie is expected to have a good footfall on its third day as well. As a result, it is expected to have a Rs 60 crore plus weekend collection.
Even in the international market, the movie is doing well. It collected Rs 8.74 crores on day one, worldwide.
Starring Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Javed Jaffrey and Sanjay Mishra in the lead roles, Total Dhamaal opened to mixed reviews. 'If you enjoyed the first Dhamaal, you are bound to find yourself laughing in Total Dhamaal as well. It keeps the charm of the first movie intact while exploring the storyline with some new faces,' BollywoodLife's review read.
