Marvel's latest venture Avengers: Infinity War has released today and is taking the worldwide box office by a storm. The superhero flick is jam-packed in almost every cinema halls, where it's playing across the globe. Looking at the current response of the film, we are expecting it to shatter every possible record at the global box office. But do you think it can become the highest worldwide grosser of all time? Avatar currently holds the position with the massive business of $ 2.8 billion, while the second spot is acquired by Titanic with $ 2.2 billion. Interestingly, both the films are directed by James Cameron.
Talking about Avengers franchise, the first installment had grossed $ 1.5 billion while the Age of Ultron grossed $ 1.4 billion. By analyzing the current scenario, we definitely think the film can cross $ 2 million mark but crossing the lifetime of Avatar will be a difficult task for the Avengers: Infinity War. The film needs to rock-steady in its second and third week, if it wants to achieve this feat at the ticket windows.
Made on the estimated budget of around $ 350 million, it is shot in England, Scotland, USA and Georgia. Produced by Kevin Feige, the screenplay of the film is written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Coming to the domestic market, the film is released in 2000 screens in India in English, Hindi, Tami and Telugu. Avengers: Infinity War, the 19th Marvel Studios’ movie, will bring together 22 superheroes like Iron Man, Thor and The Hulk against one supervillain Thanos. Anyway, do you think the film will beat James Cameron's Avatar to become the highest worldwide grosser of all time? Share your thoughts in the comments section below...
