Shah Rukh was born on 2 November 1965 in New Delhi to Meer Taj Mohammed Khan and Lateef Fatima. His Grandmother wanted to call him Abdul Rehmania. His parents named him ShahRukh Khan, which means face of the king. But he prefers his name written Shah Rukh Khan. Khan attended St. Columba's School in central Delhi. He completed his bachelors in Economics from Hansraj College(1985-88), Delhi.After Hansraj, he joined Jamia Millia Islamia to pursue masters in Mass Communications, which he couldn't complete as he had started working in Lekh Tandon's television series Dil Dariya.He also attended the prestigious National School of Drama in Delhi. He is happily married to his childhood love Gauri Khan and has three beautiful children Aryan Khan,Suhana Khan and Abram Khan.
