AAKASH GUPTA

Biography : Aakash Gupta is an well known Indian stand-up comedian, YouTuber and theatre artist. He was also the co-winner of Comicstaan Season 2 along with Samay Raina. He started his career with Theatre and improvisational comedy. Eventually, he ended up being a full time stand-up comedian. Aakash is well trained in performance arts and has excelled the skill of sketchy comedy. He grew an interest in theatre plays during his college days and also performed in an play titled “Shaheed Bhagat Singh.” He was also a part of Natuve – The theatre society of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. After this Aakash started taking interest in Improv comedy often known as improvisation, he followed improv for a year and that’s when he started taking interest in open mics and stand-up comedy. In 2018, Delhi Metro video released became a worldwide viral sensation and has been the highest watched video on the channel till date. When Aakash auditioned for Comicstaan 2which aired Amazon Prime Video he quickly become a popular contestant amongst audiences. He consistently received the highest scores in most episodes. His unique sketch comedic style landed him in the grand finale of the show and he ended up being the co-winner of Season 2 along with Samay Raina.
