ALOK NATH

Biography : Alok Nath is an accomplished actor who earned the hearts of many by playing the character Haveli Ram in the popular Ramesh Sippy’s television soap Buniyaad. He is also remembered as playing the humble and down-to-earth father of Bhagyashree in Maina Pyar Kiya. He then went on to play supporting actor in a number of Bollywood movies such as Taal, Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Saath-Saath Hain: We Stand United, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Pardes and Vivah. In complete contrast with the roles that he usually plays, Alok Nath played the bad guy in a couple of movies such as Bol Radha Bol, Vinashak – Destroyer and Shadyantra. He also made a guest appearance in the international award-winning Richard Attenborough directed film Gandhi (1982).
