Courteney Cox is an American actress, producer and director. Some of the early works she has done include films such as Masters of the Universe (1987), Cocoon: The Return (1988) and I'll Be Home fo

Courteney Cox is an American actress, producer and director. Some of the early works she has done include films such as Masters of the Universe (1987), Cocoon: The Return (1988) and I'll Be Home for Christmas (1988). She had a supporting role in the 1990 fantasy film Mr. Destiny. Then F.RI.E.N.D.S happened. The rest as they say is history. The series went on to be smash hit making the characters Ross, Phoebe, Chandler, Monica, Joey and Rachael household names. She is most remembered for her role as the cleanliness freak Monica Gellar in the same series. Some of her Hollywood films include Scream (1996), Scream 2 (1997) and Scream 3 (2000). Cox has also worked in the ABC/TBS sitcom Cougar Town, for which she earned her first Golden Globe nomination. She has also worked as director for her series Cougar Town and the television movie Talhotblond.
