DISHA VAKANI

Biography : Disha Vakani is currently very popular in the Indian household as Daya Jethalal Gada in SAB TV's show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Her innocence as a middle-class Gujarati wife and her dramatic way of speaking is much loved by everyone. Disha has graduated in the Dramatic arts from Gujarat College in Ahmedabad. Disha started her career as a stage actress in Gujarati plays like Kamal Patel v/s Dhamal Patel and Lali Lila. She later appeared in small roles in films like, Devdas (2002), Mangal Pandey: The Rising(2005) and Jodha Akbar (2008).
