He has acted in movies such as Karma (1933), Prapancha Pash (1929), Shiraz (1928) and Prem Sanyas (1925). As a producer, he has been involved in movies such as Kangan (1939), Izzat (1937), Jeevan Prabhat (1937), Savitri (1937), Achhut Kanya (1936), Janmabhoomi (1936), Jeevan Naiya (1936), Jawani Ki Hawa (1935), Karma (1933), Prapancha Pash (1929), Shiraz (1928). He was married to the very beautiful Devika Rani.
