JAVED JAFFREY

Biography : Although Javed Jaffrey is an actor, voice over artist and comedian, he is best known in the Bollywood circuit for his sizzling dance moves. One of the finest dancers and choreographers of B-town, Jaffrey has acted in movies such as Meri Jung and Salaam Namaste. His Hindi movie debut was Meri Jung in which he beautifully played the negative character. His comic role in Salaam Namaste won him the Filmfare Award. His suave dance moves in the song Bol Baby Bol Rock and Roll became a cult song of that era and found him a huge fan following. Jaffrey started his career in show biz as a VJ with Channel V. His unique sense of humour and mimicry made him a star. Boogie Woogie, the firs- of-its-kind dance reality show, was his brain child. He was also a judge on the show. Boogie Woogie went on to become one of the most popular dance shows on television and paved the way for many such dance shows in the future.
