JAYAM RAVI

Biography : Jayam Ravi (Ravi Mohan) is a popular star down South. This Tamil actor made his big screen debut with the movie Jayam (directed by his father and produced by his brother). And Jayam became his stage name since. His second movie was a sentimental drama M. Kumaran Son of Mahalakshmi (2004), in which he starred alongside Asin Thottumkal. This movie earned him rave reviews and was a huge success at the box office. M. Kumaran Son of Mahalakshmi (2004) received the Tamil Nadu State Film Special Award for Best Film and earned Jayam Ravi the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actor. His other movies include Daas, Mazhai, Idhaya Thirudan, Unakkum Enakkum, Deepavali, Thillalangadi, Peranmai, Engeyum Kaadhal and Ameerin Aadhi Baghavan. His upcoming projects include Boologam and Nimirndhu Nil. Jayam has also won the Edison Award for Best Actor.
