KANAN GILL

Biography : Kanan Gill is an Indian stand-up comedian, actor, and YouTuber. He was born in Bareilly, India, on December 24, 1989. He studied computer science at the Ramaiah Institute of Technology in Bangalore. After graduating, he worked as a software engineer for three years before quitting to pursue a career in comedy. Gill is known for his YouTube series Pretentious Movie Reviews, which he co-hosts with fellow comedian Biswa Kalyan Rath. The series has over 100 million views. He has also released two comedy specials, Keep It Real (2017) and Most Likely (2022), both of which were streamed on Amazon Prime Video. In addition to his work in comedy, Gill has also appeared in several films, including Noor (2017) and Jee Le Zaraa (2022).
