Kim Jong-hyun was popularly known as Jonghyun and was a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer, radio host, and author under the SM Entertainment label. He was born on 8 April 1990 and died on 8 December 2017. Kim Jong-hyun committed suicide in 2017. He was the main vocalist of the popular boy band Shinee. After his death, his family members established a foundation named Shiny Foundation to help struggling young artist.
