KUNAL KAMRA

Biography : Kunal Kamra is an Indian standup comedian known for his observational comedy on topics revolving around bachelor life, politics, cabbies, and TV advertisements. Kamra was born in Mumbai on October 3, 1988. Before pursuing his career as a standup comedian, Kamra worked as a production assistant in Corcoise Films for 11 years. Kamra made his standup debut in 2013 at the Canvas Club in Mumbai. He quickly gained popularity for his sharp wit and biting satire. He has since performed at comedy festivals all over India and has also appeared on several TV shows. Kamra is known for his political commentary and has often been critical of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He has been banned from several airlines and hotels for his jokes and has even been arrested once. Despite the controversy, Kamra remains one of the most popular standup comedians in India. He is known for his fearless humour, and his willingness to tackle taboo subjects. He is a role model for many young people in India and is seen as a voice of dissent against the government.
