Kunal Kapoor is an actor who began his Bollywood career as an assistant director in Amitabh Bachchan starrer Aks. He began his acting career training under theatre legend Barry John and continued with Motley. He made his movie debut starring opposite Tabu in Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities. In 2006, Kapoor worked in the multi-starrer movie film Rang De Basanti which was a huge success and for which he was nominated for Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award. His films that followed were Hattrick Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Aaja Nachle, which failed to make an impact at the box office. His work in Lamhaa and Don 2 received critical acclaim. He was last seen in the light hearted comedy film Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana in which he essayed the lead role. He has endorsed popular brands. Kapoor voiced the Indian god Rama in Mahayoddha Rama in animated movie Ramayana. His upcoming films film where superhero Doga, Chamkila, and comedy Kaun Kitne Paani Mein. In 2009, Kapoor started writing weekly columns for HT City. He is a trained pilot and is the face of the Save the Children charity. He recently got engaged to Amitabh Bachchan's niece, Naina Bachchan.
