Lisa Haydon was born as Elisabeth Marie Haydon to a Malayali father and an Australian mother. Her sister Mallika Haydon is also into modelling. Lisa lived in Australia and United States before moving back to India in 2007 to pursue modelling. In India she has walked the ramp in all the major fashion weeks and is the face of Lakmé.[1] She has also featured in commercials and featured as cover girl for major fashion magazines. Lisa was named the best model and the most stylish persona in Cosmopolitan Fun and Fearless Awards 2009, DNA most stylish 2009, Marie Claire Best Model 2010. A chance discovery by actor Anil Kapoor got her a role in the movie Aisha. Lisa got critical acclaim in her role as Vijayalakshmi, a single unwed mother in the hit movie Queen (2014), alongside Kangana Ranaut. She is currently working on The Shaukeens, a remake of the 1982 film Shaukeen. Haydon is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and has learned with Shiamak Davar for five years. Lisa is engaged to business entrepreneur and DJ Karan Bhojwani since 2005.
