Mahii Vij is model turned actress who has appeared in music videos best remembered among these is Tu, Tu Hai Wahi (DJ Aqeel Mix). She was the female lead in a TV serial called Akela in the year 2006. She played the lead role of Pratha in the Sahara One show Shubh Kadam. Her breakthrough role was that of protagonist Nakusha in the television show Laagi Tujhse Lagan on Colors TV. Vij also contested in season 4 of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She was later seen in Nach Baliye 5 with her actor husband Jay Banushali, and went on to win it. She was one of the contestants of reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 5. She has also worked in a Malayalam movie opposite Mammootty.
