RAHUL ROY

Biography : Rahul Roy is an actor who got a dream debut with Mahesh Bhatt’s Ashiqui opposite Anu Agarwal. He was immediately established as a romantic hero who started the trend of long hairstyles. He did a string of romantic movies, but not all of them did well at the box office. His notable movies are Phir teri kahaani yaad aayi and Junoon. Unfortunately, many of his good projects with well-known heroines got shelved and he was unable to have an impressive career. He took a break from acting. Even his directorial debut was shelved because of financial reasons. When he returned to acting, he managed to do only mediocre films. Luck finally smiled at him when he participated in and won Big Boss. He is also a producer. He is married to former model Rajlakshmi Khanvilkar but they have filed for divorce. His uncle is renowned make-up artist Cory Walia. He has been honoured with life time membership of the International Film and Television Club of Asian Academy of Film and Television.
