Biography : Sampath Raj Kumar is a essentially a Tamil actor who has also worked in a number of Telegu and Kannad movies. He has done a negative role in quite a number of his movies. It is his role in director Venkat Prabhu's comedy trilogy --- Chennai 600028, Saroja and Goa that brought him much appreciation. His performance in Saroja won him the nomination for Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor – Tamil and nomination for Vijay Award for Best Villain. His role in the movie Goa won him the nomination for the Vijay Award for Best Supporting Actor. He was also nominated for SIIMA Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Brindavana.
