SHILPA RAIZADA

Biography : Shilpa Raizada, born July 12, 1990, is an Indian television actress. She is famous for her roles of Padmini in Hamari Devrani, Begum Rukhsar in Veer Shivaji, Shehnaaz in Jodha Akbar and Binny in Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls. She walso played Surekha Akhilesh Goenka in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus from 2016 to 2021. Raizada was born in Pathakhera, Madhya Pradesh, India. She completed her schooling from Little Flower High School, Pathakhera. She then moved to Bhopal to pursue her graduation from Govt. MVM College. During her college days, she started anchoring for Aaj Tak news channel, covering development stories on tribal people of state of Madhya Pradesh. Raizada made her acting debut in 2010 with the TV serial Krishnaben Khakhrawala. She then went on to play supporting roles in several TV serials, including Hamari Devrani, Veer Shivaji, Jodha Akbar and Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls. In 2016, she was cast as Surekha Akhilesh Goenka in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The role made her a household name and she received several awards for her performance, including the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Raizada is a talented actress who has been praised for her versatility and her ability to bring different characters to life.
