SHRIKANT VERMA

Biography : Shrikant Verma is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Bollywood films and Hindi web series. He is known for his work in 'Mirzapur' and 'Breathe: Into the Shadows' season 1. Verma was born and raised in Delhi. He studied at the National School of Drama (NSD) in New Delhi, graduating in 1995. After graduating from NSD, Verma began his acting career with small roles in films and television shows. He made his Bollywood debut in the 2001 film Aks, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar. In the following years, Verma appeared in a number of films, including Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2003), Rang De Basanti (2006), and Dev.D (2009). He also appeared in several television shows, including Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii (2000-2008), Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2000-2008), and Naagin (2015-2016). Verma's breakthrough role came in 2018, when he played the role of Mamaji in the web series Mirzapur.
