TINA MUNIM

Biography : Tina Munim - Ambani is a Bollywood film actress who worked in several films between late 1970s and late 80s. She is married to industrialist Anil Ambani. Tina Munim was discovered by Dev Anand after she represented India in 1975 at the International Teen Princess contest in Aruba, and won the Miss Photogenic and Miss Bikini awards. In 1978, Dev Anand cast her in his film Des Pardes, which was her debut. She did two more films with him namely Lootmaar and Man Pasand. She went on to give hits like Rocky, Baaton Baaton Mein and Man Pasand. Munim made a successful pair with Rajesh Khanna for films like Fiffty Fiffty, Souten, Bewafai, Suraag, Insaaf Main Karoonga, Adhikar, Rajput, Akhir Kyun and Paapi Pet Ka Sawaal Hai. They were also linked romantically. Ambani also acted with Rishi Kapoor in films like Yeh Vaada Raha, Aap Ke Deewane, Bade Dil Wala, Deedar-E-Yaar, Karz and Katilon Ke Kaatil. She also did a negative role in Aakhir Kyon?. In 1987, Munim left Bollywood and in 1992 she married Anil Ambani. She has two sons with him. She is involved in a number of philanthropic and charity activities and is currently running an NGO and hospital.
