VARUN DHAWAN

Biography : Varun Dhawan is the son of well-known director David Dhawan and younger brother of Rohit Dhawan who directed 2011 film Desi Boyz. Before entering Bollywood, the young lad worked as an assistant director. He assisted Karan Johar in his directorial venture My name is Khan, which starred Shahrukh Khan and Kajol in the lead. In 2012, Varun made his grand acting debut with karan Johar's film Student of the Year, which also starred newbie Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. With his first film, he proved his mettle as an actor and even swept away two awards for his performance. Next came his solo hero film Main Tera Hero co-starring Ileana D'cruz and Nargis Fakhri. The rom-com managed to impress both the critics and the audience. For his third film Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania, Varun teamed up with Karan Johar and Alia once again. The b-town hunk will next be seen in Badlapur and dance film ABCD 2.
