After the IPL-induced lull in the TV scene, makers always come up with a revamp idea to make the audience return to their channels. They either give a new look to the channel or launch a bundle of new shows to ensure the audience tunes back in. All channels have launched some new shows and it seems Colors has fared the best with its supernatural show. Naagin is one famous series of television and has been winning hearts ever since its first season. On the other hand, Salman Khan has returned with Dus Ka Dum on the small screen after almost nine years. On the other hand, Drashti Dhami and Shakti Arora have made a comeback with Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka. The three shows are all one-of-a-kind. While one is a supernatural drama, one is a game show and other is a daily soap dealing with quite a contemporary topic. They were all launched at the same time and after the first week's TRP results, Naagin 3 has beaten the others.
While Naagin 3 has opened with a humongous impression not only in urban areas but also pan India, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka and Dus Ka Dum have gone missing from the top 20 list. When Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan bid adieu to the show, fans were left disheartened. Some even said that they won't watch the show, But Ekta Kapoor obviously knows how to win hearts. The new cast, comprising of Anita Hassanandani, Karishma Tanna, Surbhi Jyoti, Rajat Tokas, Pearl V Puri, created a huge buzz since its advent. While she revealed all of looks, Surbhi's look was kept hidden. Moreover, her identity was also not revealed and aspersions over whether she is a naagin or not were cast. But finally, it is revealed that Surbhi aka Bela is also a naagin. Also, Rajat Tokas played a cameo in the show and fans went gaga over his NaagRaj avatar. All these added up to the show's successful opening. On the other hand, Salman returned with this game show with double dhamaka, but we guess it couldn't create the impact that the fans wanted. Silsila Badalte Rishton ka made us gush over the show since its first episode and also got a humongous TRP online but its seems that the show is not finding favours with the TV audience. Being a contemporary concept, the show had received a lot of flak since the beginning. But we guess it will gain good TRPs over time.
