After making its presence felt on the TRP charts, The Kapil Sharma Show has another good news in its kitty. Actor Chandan Prabhakar who was missing from the show ever since the news of the mid-air flight broke out, has come back on the show. This was reported by The Times of India and Chandan exclusively confirmed the news on Bollywood Life.com. He will come back in the character of the chai-wallah. This is indeed good news for Kapil and fans of the path-breaking comedy show. When we buzzed Chandan, he sounded extremely happy as he confirmed the news to us.
He said, "Yes, I am back on The Kapil Sharma Show. I have started shooting. I guess my episode will go on air this Sunday. I will be shooting regularly from now on." Well, this is jubilant news for everyone. Earlier, a source had told The Times of India, "Chandan is back on the show for good; Kapil and he have buried the hatchet. A lot has happened in the recent past and we are glad that we have managed to climb up the ratings chart after a brief downfall. Even the negativity associated with the show has started to settle down. Our objective is to make people laugh. We are aware of the new show that will feature Krushna and Ali, and we hope that both the shows do well."
Chandan stopped shooting with the team after the report of the massive fight came out. It seems Kapil Sharma had an altercation with him in Melbourne and also abused him on the flight. When Sunil Grover intervened, he also got allegedly abused and some reports say that Kapil hurled a shoe at him. It should be noted that Kapil and Chandan's association go back a long way. News of Kapil's change in behaviour and renewed professional behaviour are also doing the rounds.
With Krushna Abhishek doing a show with Kapil's ex-colleagues Ali Asghar, Sugandha Mishra and Dr Sanket Bhosle, the competition is stiff. This move will surely boost Kapil's team. Stay tuned to Bollywood Life for more scoop and updates...
