Sanju has turned out to be a gamechanger for Ranbir Kapoor. The biographical drama not only re-established RK's career but also turned out to be the biggest hit of the year. With more than Rs 340 crore, Sanju is currently the third highest grosser of all-time after Baahubali 2 and Dangal. In fact, it has also turned out to be Rajkumar Hirani's biggest hit till date. Post this humongous success, Ranbir Kapoor made a special request to Rajkumar Hirani, which lead to a pact between the two. As per their pact, Ranbir will now be a part of every upcoming film of Hirani. Well, this is indeed a great news for all RK fans. Now before you jump to any conclusion, let us tell you that each of his roles may not be a lead character. He could even have a cameo, a supporting character or perhaps just a photo of RK could be seen in the film. Remember, how Boman Irani is a part of every Hirani film, likewise RK too would have an appearance. Interestingly, Ranbir has replaced Arshad Warsi as the character of Circuit in the third installment of Munnabhai series.

On the work front, Ranbir is currently shooting for Brahmastra along with girlfriend Alia Bhatt in Bulgaria. It is the first part of a trilogy and is reportedly made on a whopping budget of Rs 100 crore. The fantasy superhero action drama also features Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles. It is directed by Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani helmer Ayan Mukerji and is set to hit the screens on August 15, 2019, during the Independence Day weekend.
